Quality Control Music artist Bankroll Freddie has reportedly been arrested for possession of drugs and firearms. The artist, who made a lot of noise with his single “Pop It” featuring Megan thee Stallion, was not released on bail.
Bankroll Freddie was arrested April 14 for speeding on Interstate 55 in Marion, Arkansas. A search of his van revealed a huge amount of drugs.
Bankroll Freddie had 21 pounds of weed and over 171 grams of promethazine, aka “skinny.” Officers were also pictured carrying the large bags of weed out of his home in Marion.
Bankroll Freddie was charged with resisting arrest, concurrent possession of drugs and firearms, and possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance for the purpose of committing a felony, speeding, etc.
Reports indicate that Bankroll Freddie was turned over to the FBI.
The photo of the rising star, under his government name Freddie Gladney, was released after being booked. However, no additional information (trial, conviction, etc.) has been released to the public.
A few weeks ago he released his first single of the year called “Pickin’ Sides”. He dropped about a year after his last project, “Big Bank.”
The 2021 album contained 14 tracks, with additional appearances from Young Dolph, BIG 30, 2 Chainz, EST Gee and others.
