Catherine Zeta-Jones and her husband Michael Douglas have decided to spend their Easter holidays reuniting with their two children, son Dylan, 21, and daughter Carys, 18. The family reunited on Dylan’s college campus – and it looks like the A-list cast tried to be as low-key as possible.
Dressed in a baseball cap and sunglasses, Douglas clung to the back of the family selfie. Zeta-Jones was in the foreground, looking glamorous as usual, while Dylan snuggled close to his mother. Carys took her own moment of glory as she closed her eyes and looked up at the sun. Mom was thrilled to have all her babies in one place. She captioned the snapshot, “The band is back together! Happy, so happy! College campus!”
Douglas, Zeta-Jones and Carys visited Dylan on his campus at Brown University, where he is a senior. They were also spotted enjoying some sightseeing time like any other family in town. They visited The Breakers, a Gilded Age mansion that was Cornelius Vanderbilt II’s summer home in Newport, Rhode Island. Douglas posted a sweet image of the four of them in front of the beautiful estate.
As empty nests, the pair are now adjusting to living with just the two of them. This includes, enjoying their time alone, but also downsizing their huge Manhattan residence. “You look at each other and you’re like, ‘Well, it’s just you and me baby,’ he said. Today’s show. “You forget how many conversations you hide behind to talk about your kids and what happens next and this and that, and then one day you look at yourself.” They all share a close family bond, and it’s clear that their vacation weekend together was memorable.
