Isaiah Rashad responds to alleged sex tape leak while filming Coachella

Isaiah Rashad is back.

Zay took the stage at Coachella on Saturday night in one of the festival’s most emotional moments, when rapper Top Dawg opened his set with a video montage focusing on some recent events in his life. Earlier this year video footage was leaked of a man – allegedly Rashad – engaging in sex acts with men, and although he personally did not comment on the video itself when it was first performance since, Zay let the others do the talking.

The set opened with a video montage of The Game, Joe Budden, Akademiks, and more discussing the leaked video in podcasts and interviews. “The purpose of doing this was to embarrass her,” a voice says in the video. “However, it backfired on us. When his video leaked, his streams and everything went up. He’s on the charts now.

After the clip, Zay went through some of his greatest hits, as well as snippets from the house is burningas he brought out Doechii, SiR and other members of his Top Dawg family in the process.

Towards the end of his set, Rashad sent a message to his fans who have shown their support for him over the past few months as he has remained off the internet and relatively quiet.

“I see all the messages and all that shit, all the positivity,” Rashad said. “All y’all niggas got me living for the last two months. ยป

Rashad’s second album, The house is burning includes Jay Rock, Lil Uzi Vert, SZA, 6lack, Doechii, and more.
