Justin Bieber goes shirtless for surprise Coachella appearance while filming Daniel Caesar

Justin Bieber gave festival-goers an impromptu performance this weekend.

The Grammy Award winner, 28, joined his friend Daniel Caesar on stage Friday for a surprise appearance on the opening day of Coachella 2022, amid the event’s triumphant return after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As an added treat, Bieber went shirtless in a backwards Phillies baseball cap and baggy jeans that showed off the waistband of his tight Calvin Klein whites.

He and Caesar, 27, performed their single “Peaches” from Bieber’s sixth studio album Justice, after the track garnered four Grammy nominations, including Song of the Year. Although Giveon, who also features on the track, is scheduled to perform at the festival on Saturday, he did not join the duo on stage.

“Forget my friend Justin Bieber, man!” Caesar told the audience as they wrapped up the special performance.

Bieber’s surprise appearance comes amid his Justice world tour, having rebounded from a diagnosis of COVID-19 which forced him to postpone his concert date in Las Vegas in February.

“I really felt the nerves leading up to it,” he said. “I think sometimes the nerves come from a good place, because you care.”

“There are a lot of times where I messed up. But I think I’m ok with your little mistakes…I mean, nothing’s gonna be perfect,” Bieber added. “So next time, you just take those mistakes and do it better. That’s life. You want to get better at something, you have to be willing to make mistakes, not take.” So you shoot. If you miss, you miss, but at least you tried.

Bieber recently attended the 64th Grammy Awards earlier this month, walking the red carpet with his wife Hailey Bieber.
