Leonardo DiCaprio and Jared Leto attend Neon Carnival – WWD

Leonardo DiCaprio has been a Neon Carnival regular over the years, and he was back on Saturday night – along with Megan Thee Stallion, Timothée Chalamet, Paris Hilton and Jared Leto – for the most coveted post-festival party of the weekend, an invite-only affair that is now in its 11th year after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.

In a sea of unmasked faces, DiCaprio arrived masked, dodging the cameras in a blue Kansas City Chiefs cap, joined by girlfriend Camila Morrone. Hilton, on the other hand, posed for the flashes; she was hard to miss in a rainbow-hued jacket and bedazzled ensemble with matching hat and gloves in the raised VIP risers. This is where celebrities and their entourages spent most of the evening and into the wee hours of the morning.

Leto didn’t arrive until 1am, turning heads in a bright yellow, puffy down gilet – from the Gucci x The North Face collaboration. There was also Anitta, dressed all in black, a Versace cap, a bandeau top and low-rise pants with exposed thongs; Rachel Zoe, with her husband Rodger Berman, who hosted her Zoeasis event earlier in the day; sisters Chloe and Halle Bailey; Patrick Schwarzenegger; Rich the Child; “Riverdale” actresses Lili Reinhart, Vanessa Morgan and Camila Mendes, plus a slew of models – all dancing to the beat of returning DJs Ruckus and Kayper, and newcomer Mel DeBarge.

The night owls, around 10,000 guests (lots of face gems, neon colors and cozy hoodies), indulged in carnival festivities, familiar games and rides. The Ferris wheel was a popular attraction, as were bumper cars.

Like all major parties this year, the event took place on the festival grounds, at the Desert International Horse Park in Thermal, California. Longtime partners Levi Strauss & Co and Don Julio Tequila were back as sponsors (along with Liquid IV).
