TikToker’s Unfortunate Virus Injury Inspires Hilarious TikTok Duos

  • His high-pitched scream has become a trending sound on TikTok, inspiring thousands of hilarious duets.
  • Alli Fitz, for her part, used Bridges’ video to create her own version of Alicia Keys’ hit song “Fallin’.”

A clumsy TikToker’s high-pitched scream in response to hip banging on his bed has become a trending sound on the app, inspiring thousands of hilarious TikTok duets.

It all started when Katey Bridges, 26, prepared to post a video of herself over the weekend. As she backed up after setting up the camera, she crashed into the corner of her

and let out a cry of pain.

“I’m just trying to show my form, but the good Lord had other plans,” she wrote in the caption of the video, which has been viewed over 8.3 million times.

Now, other Tiktokers are taking his video to produce TikTok duets, cleverly using the “ahhh” sound in their own pop song covers. A search for sound on TikTok turns up more than 6,700 videos, most of them duets.

For example, musician and YouTuber Alli Fitz used the sound in place of “I” to sing Alicia Keys’ hit song “Fallin’.”

This TikToker with the username @peningtonn used the sound to sing “Dilemma” by Nelly and Kelly Rowland.

And what about this duet with “Staying Alive” by the Bee Gees?

Canadian actor Stephen Amell of the TV show “Arrow” also weighed in with a duet. In his TikTok duet, he recites the show’s signature line while pretending to shoot an arrow at Bridges: “You failed in this town.”

It is timed to look like Bridges has been hit and falls.

Bridges didn’t immediately respond to Insider’s request for comment, but she did let her TikTok fans know that she approves of the duets.

“Y’all those duets and stitches got me HOLLERING,” she wrote in the comments to her original video.
